Appliance repair industry professionals have the opportunity each year to attend a handful of trade shows and conferences throughout the country. Taking part in these gatherings is both beneficial and educational as they provide technical training, networking facilitation with industry peers, as well as the strengthening of industry standards in order to universally maintain safety, reliability and product performance.
Listed below are a few of the industry events currently scheduled for 2023.
ASTI 2023
The United Appliance Servicers Association will be hosting their Annual Service Training Institute event from February 1 - 5 at the Marriott River Center in San Antonio, TX. ASTI is the largest event in North America for appliance repair professionals.
Attendees will connect with industry leaders, receive technical training from appliance manufacturers, and learn tricks of the trade to increase call volume and inventory management.
UASA members save an additional $100 off the admission price to attend the conference. Early Bird pricing ends on January 22, 2023.
PSA 2023
Known as “The Voice of the Appliance Service Industry,” the Professional Service Association (PSA) will be hosting their annual convention September 25 - 28 at the Westgate Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
Training topics will include appliance troubleshooting, basic and advanced refrigeration, electronic devices, office systems, business management, and much more.
Certification training & testing will be provided for attendees to become a Certified Consumer Specialist (CCS), Certified Service Manager (CSM), Certified Master Technician (Mcap), or Certified Technician (Tcap).
Registration cost is $729 with early bird and pre-registration discounts.
Gadget Repair Expo
The Gadget Repair Expo will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL on May 11th & 12th. With close to 100 booths, attendees will have ample opportunities to network and connect with other industry professionals and take advantage of numerous educational panel discussions and presentations.
Tickets to the expo cost $99.99 plus a $7.52 fee and will include all exhibits, repair demonstrations, training demos, workshops, panelists, Open Bar Cocktail Party, entertainment, and more.
There will be over $55,000 worth of giveaways.
