Conferences Can Open Up Entire Worlds of Possibilities
Below are some of the conferences that have already occurred that you may want to consider for the future, as well as some that are scheduled for later this year:
The annual NERCA trade show and convention occurred from February 7-9 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT. Roofing professionals from across the Northeast, encompassing Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, gathered together to network, exchange ideas, and create a camaraderie among industry peers.
The IRE took place in Dallas, TX from March 7-9. The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), Roofing Contractor Magazine, and National Women in Roofing (NWiR) partnered together to create this premier industry conference.
Attendees ran the gamut from commercial contractors, remodelers, builders, architects, engineers, and manufacturers worldwide with the goal of networking and attending educational seminars in order to help develop their businesses and increase sales revenue.
Highlights from the 2022 Roofing Expo
Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Expo
The Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal Contractors Association, Inc. (FRSA) will be hosting their 101st annual convention from July 12-14 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida.
More than 240 companies will be featured on the exhibition floor laying out their products and services. There will also be a scavenger hunt featuring affiliate chapters from across the state of Florida with proceeds benefiting The Faine House, a local charity organization, and many more fun and educational activities.
A welcome reception will be held on the first night from 5:30-7:00 pm at Wreckers Sports Bar and will be a FREE opportunity to hobnob with fellow roofers and sheet metal pros.
Admission is free for all roofing contractors, $295 for representatives of manufacturers, distributors and suppliers who are not exhibiting, and $995 for an Expo Hall Pass for service providers.
Western States Roofing Expo
The Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino will be the site for this year’s Western States Roofing Expo, scheduled to take place September 23-25. The Western States Roofing Contractors Association, the sponsor of this event, has been serving the roofing and waterproofing industry in the Western US since 1974.
The trade show will include 24 educational seminars, 2 keynote luncheons, games, tournaments, welcome event and auction, and live demonstrations at the exhibition hall throughout the weekend. Attendees can also participate in “The Roofing Games”, a very popular competition featuring teams of roofers in a roofing installation challenge.

Western Roofing Expo Highlights
Texas Roofing Conference
The Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT) will be hosting their annual roofing conference from October 4-6 at the Marriott Marquis in Houston, Texas. The conference is geared toward commercial and residential roofing contractors, builders, remodelers, architects, and consultants.
In addition to the exhibition floor where there will be a large display of industry related products and services, conference attendees can also take part in an annual golf tournament, welcome reception, and RCAT Awards Luncheon.
Registration includes a pass for the two-day expo, seminars and educational programs, as well as the Annual Business Meeting & Award Luncheon, door prizes & more.
RoofCON Conference & Expo
RoofCON will take place November 9-11 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. This event is considered to be the largest roofing and solar training event in the world.
Among the more than 60 speakers this year will be Kevin Harrington, Shark Tank Investor, Inventor of the Infomercial, and Founder of “As Seen on TV”. Learn techniques related to sales, marketing, networking, leadership, operations, and much more!
